demonstrates the vastness and emptiness of this part of the world,
where there is little in the way of water or life.

The Big Mango, close to the edge of Bowen
Queensland. A big, iconic sculpture located adjacent to the visitors
centre, it is a good indicator of one of the areas main industries.

A section of one of the many beautiful little
creeks that run down from alpine North Eastern Victoria. These
watercourses are clear, clean and often hold large trout that make for
fine fresh water fishing.

Volunteer Coastguard is beached during one of their exercises.
